P/s: I am missing the laksa johor that my mum in law ordered for the breakfast session as well as the sambal sotong for the makan2 session. Which is why we combined our doa selamat with tahlil.Īlhamdulilah, everything goes well as planned. 
Apart from being happy for our soon to be born daughter, we also like remember our family members who have passed away. So, those who practise Tahlil believe that the rewards of what they read will reach the deceased.
Incase you are wondering, 'Tahlil' that had been a practice among the Muslim Community is actually a series of Quranic readings, Zikr and Do'a, such as reading of Surah Yaasin, chanting repeatedly the Kalimah 'La Ilaha Illallah' and Doa for the deceased. On that day, our family held a tahlil as well. Without them, things would definitely won’t be the same. We are truly grateful that we able to share this happiness with our close family members and thankful for all of their continuous support. There are no word could express how happy we are to welcome our new family member. The main reason we decided to held this to humbly thank Allah for all the kindness that Allah have showered to our family. As promised, I am going to share about the Kenduri Doa Selamat and Kesyukuran that was held earlier on.
